They are renowned for their focus on craft beers.Their beer selection is extensive and includes their exclusive brand, THAT Brewing Company. It’s brewed just a few kilometres away at Station 43, their sister establishment and home to their own brewery. It’s one of our favourite tipples and we can happily indulge in their amazing brews all night long. From the Pale Ale to the Irish Cream, it’s all amazing.

Unity’s menu is a delightful exploration of flavours. One standout dish that keeps us coming back is their Portuguese chicken. This dish exemplifies the fusion of cultural influences that define the best restaurants in Durban. The tender chicken is marinated in a spicy Portuguese peri-peri sauce, delivering a burst of flavour that perfectly balances heat and zest. Accompanied by hand-cut chips and a fresh garden salad, it’s a must-try for any food enthusiast. Another favourite is the Blue cheese, rocket and onion and marmalade burger. Their handmade char-grilled beef patty is topped with creamy blue cheese, onion marmalade and rocket. The sweetness of onion marmalade complements the creamy, tangy blue cheese, all wrapped up in a Portuguese roll that ties the burger and its toppings together beautifully. 

In true Durban Vibe cultural fusion they also do amazing curries and we recommend having a Bunny Chow at theirs totally hits the spot on flavour and heat. Prefer Asian food?
