It effortlessly blends modern flair with fusion cuisine, making it one of our favorite spots along Florida Road. We promise you will find good music, delicious food, and a vibrant realisation of the Durban Vibe that permeates this amazing city.

The ambience at AuthentiQ is impressive, with stylish decor and creative lighting. It’s evident that a lot of effort went into styling the interior, and the quality of the art pieces on the walls define the atmosphere. The decor perfectly complements the restaurant, making it aesthetically pleasing. If you’re an aesthetics enthusiast, then you’ll be in vibe heaven.

Divided into a dining side and a club side, AuthentiQ perfectly captures the famous Durban Vibe where culture, cuisine, art, music and lifestyles merge. The club resonates with its upbeat music and eclectic culturally mixed crowd create the perfect atmosphere: and the restaurant delivers the perfect dining experience.

Their diverse menu caters to every taste, from delicious starters to main dishes and mouthwatering desserts. We can’t get enough of the Tanzanian mussels, which have that beautiful  briny taste with a hint of sweetness. The spiced roasted carrots and spiced meatballs with pomegranate are also highly recommended.

Our favorite main dish is the Mediterranean mixed grill (v). It’s on another level with its varied and tasty selected vegetables grilled to perfection. We love that it is paired with a wonderful Tzatziki that enhances the flavour sensations. Other menu highlights include the pork belly, beef short ribs, lamb tagine, and their famous African risotto. Trust us, you won’t leave hungry!

Save room for dessert because AuthentiQ offers tempting treats like the espresso martini trifle and the wild berry pecan tart. Don’t forget to try their summer love cocktails; the Native spirit cocktail is a personal favorite. With a wide variety of beers on offer, there’s something for everyone. We love to eat here and if you’re visiting a Durban attraction nearby, it’s a great place to visit.
